Crown Aero Group announces that aircraft of the ANG family will be equipped with the new AXIS navigation system manufactured by Garmin Aviation — an advanced solution that sets a new standard of convenience, safety, and functionality in the cockpit.
AXIS is a new family of all-in-one touchscreen flight displays designed specifically for piston-powered single- and twin-engine aircraft. The innovative system combines a flight display, IFR GPS, NAV/COMM equipment, and audio panel capability into a single unit. This solution significantly simplifies cockpit upgrades, reduces the number of separate devices, and lightens the workload on the crew.
The system is packed with a range of advanced safety features, including Smart Glide — a technology that, in the event of an engine failure, helps the pilot automatically calculate the optimal glide route to the nearest suitable airfield — and 3D SafeTaxi, which provides clear three-dimensional orientation while taxiing on the airfield.
Installing AXIS on ANG aircraft underscores Crown Aero Group’s commitment to offering its customers only the most modern and reliable technologies. Integrating the system will enhance flight safety, streamline pilots’ work, and provide more comfortable and intuitive aircraft control.
Models with an 11.6-inch display will become available on ANG aircraft starting this September, while versions with an 8-inch display will go on sale in the first quarter of 2027.
“Equipping ANG aircraft with the AXIS system from Garmin Aviation is an important step in the development of our aircraft fleet,” said Artem Prokopenko, CEO of Crown Aero Group. “We strive to provide our customers with solutions that combine safety, reliability, and cutting-edge technology. AXIS fully meets these requirements.”
Note. Crown Aero Group (I. D. P. Dream Motors Limited) is the exclusive distributor of ANG World in Cyprus. The company is implementing a project to create a unique aviation ecosystem in Cyprus. The project envisions the construction of an aviation hub with a private airfield, a light aircraft owners’ club, a flight school, a Build-Assist center for the assembly of ANG aircraft, and a service center. The company also offers customers and investors modern digital tools for acquisition, co-ownership, partnership, and investment in both aircraft and the hub’s aviation infrastructure through tokenized participation and digital management of their assets on its own digital platform, flyANGT.com.
The ANG aircraft is a premium next-generation light 5-seat airplane. It was first designed and built in 2019 by leading Ukrainian aircraft engineers. Its all-carbon construction makes the aircraft lighter and stiffer. Aerodynamic efficiency with a unique glide ratio of 18.6 delivers high TAS speeds (350 km/h), low fuel consumption (28 L/h), and a long flight range (2,500 km). The combination of proprietary technological solutions and operational qualities (reliability, operating costs, payload capacity, comfort, number of seats) makes the ANG aircraft a global benchmark in its class.
