Crown Aero Group, the official ANG World dealer in Cyprus, has announced that the new generation of the ANG aircraft — the ANG-02 — will arrive in Cyprus in 2027.
What changes
Every aircraft in the new ANG-02 generation will be fitted with the turbocharged 160 hp Rotax 916 iS. This engine holds its power as the aircraft climbs, not only on the take-off roll, while remaining one of the most economical in its class at just 28 litres of fuel per hour.
The ANG-02 will be equipped with the new AXIS navigation system from Garmin Aviation — an all-in-one touchscreen display that sets a new standard of convenience, safety and functionality in the cockpit. The system brings the flight display, IFR-approved GPS, NAV/COMM equipment and audio panel functions together in a single unit. That substantially simplifies a cockpit upgrade, reduces the number of separate devices and lowers the workload on the crew.
The cabin has been substantially reworked to increase comfort for pilot and passengers alike. It now has air conditioning with climate control, holding a comfortable temperature both on the ground and in the air. The pilot’s seat has built-in ventilation and a massage function, so that after several hours in the air the pilot steps out alert rather than worn down. Modern sun visors shield the pilot’s eyes from direct sunlight.
The sprung landing-gear system has been given a new design with a longer service life. It is built for an aircraft that flies regularly, not once or twice a month.
The fuselage has changed as well — a new manufacturing process has made it lighter still. Every kilogram saved in the structure of the fuselage is a kilogram that can go into more comfort — air conditioning, seats, trim — without increasing the overall weight of the aircraft.
“The ANG-02 is not a cosmetic update. We are changing what the owner touches and feels on every flight: how the engine runs, the instruments, the ergonomics of the seat, the air in the cabin. Cyprus will be among the first to receive these aircraft,” said Artem Prokopenko, CEO of Crown Aero Group.
Full ANG-02 specifications are being published as they are confirmed by the manufacturer.

Its activities cover aircraft sales, registration, assembly and after-sales support in the region. The company is implementing a project to create a unique aviation ecosystem in Cyprus, Saudi Arabia and MENA region. The project envisions the construction of an aviation hub with a private airfield, a light aircraft owners’ club, a flight school, a Build-Assist center for the assembly of ANG aircraft, and a service center. The company also offers customers and investors modern digital tools for acquisition, co-ownership, partnership, and investment in both aircraft and the hub’s aviation infrastructure through tokenized participation and digital management of their assets on its own digital platform, flyANGT.com.
ANG World was created to form an international ecosystem around the ANG aircraft. It connects owners, dealers and markets worldwide around the ANG through marketing, dealer network development, Build-Assist centers and an international quality standards system. ANG World has opened its first aviation hub for the assembly of ANG aircraft in the European Union. It is located in Radom, Poland. www.ang.world
The ANG aircraft is a premium next-generation light 5-seat airplane. It was first designed and built in 2019 by leading Ukrainian aircraft engineers. Its all-carbon construction makes the aircraft lighter and stiffer. Aerodynamic efficiency with a unique glide ratio of 18.6 delivers a high true airspeed (TAS) of 370 km/h, low fuel consumption of 28 L/h and an outstanding range of 2,500 km. The aircraft is equipped with a ballistic recovery parachute. The combination of proprietary technological solutions and operational qualities — reliability, operating costs, payload capacity, comfort and number of seats — makes the ANG a global benchmark in its class.
